2026 SAID Student Dental School Educational Award

Sponsored by SAID and Crest-OralB, this scholarship is available to one or more AI/AN dental students enrolled in a U.S. dental school. Up to $10,000 is available.
To be considered for this scholarship, please submit the following:
- Online application form (see below)
- An essay that reflects a current issue of your choice, in the AI/AN community, and how it impacts oral health (minimum 500 words)
- Transcript to date
- Proof of tribal enrollment
Additional Information:
- Membership in SAID. Please ensure that your SAID membership is current, i.e., 2026 dues are paid.
- Proof of school enrollment. While you are not required to submit proof of school enrollment at this time, please note that you will be required to provide proof that you are enrolled for the 2026-2027 Academic Year in order to receive the award.
Submit the form and all associated documents by April 1.
Recipients will be announced at the 2026 Conference Banquet, and awards will be sent after enrollment documents are submitted to SAID.
